Welcome to my Blog

Hi people! My name is Jennifer (call me Jen for short) and this is my blog, polarprotection.O.K., well, since Bush, the USA president, made the decision to let Oil Companies harm North Pole polar bears and their habitat with oils and gas,I decided to take action. Now,there is already protection for them in hunting and other threats between Russia and the US, but we need to also protect the North Poles polar bears’ habitat by not being polluted, even though Global Warming is already ruining their environment. I decided to start two petitions and write at least three or four letters to the senators everyday. One petition is for online, so if you want, you can sign it, and the other is for the people I encounter at times. If you would like to help, contact your senators in your state. If you do not live in the USA, contact your government and write to them. You can even create a petition of your own.

Now, you might be wondering, (or not) if EPA has a law for their protection.EPA has marked polar bears down as an endangered species that needs to be protected, but they are not doing anything about it.So letting oil companies harm polar bears with gas and oils will make it even better! (being sarcastic)Bush will not do anything because he does not care, but, like I said before, we need to show the senators and government that we do care, so they could do something about the oil companies, by writing and starting petitions for a start, and pledging to be more earth-friendly.Plus, if we do not let them struck more oil (which is actually one reason why the gas price went up surprisingly), the world will be in better shape and the polar bears in the North Pole will be in less danger.
